Dyslexia does not make up who you are. You get to choose who you are. Dyslexia helps you see what other people can not.
What is it?
Dyslexia
(say: dis-LEK-see-uh) is a learning problem some kids have. Dyslexia
makes it tough to read and spell. The problem is inside the brain, but it doesn't mean the person is dumb. Plenty of smart and talented people struggle with Dyslexia.
But Dyslexia
doesn't have to keep a kid down. With some help and a lot of hard work, a kid who has Dyslexia
can learn to read and spell.
Superheros
Many of the people you see on your TV have the same superpower as you! They all have Dyslexia
but they use it for good. They like standing up and standing out!
